Destiny Warrior (she/her/hers) joined Generation Citizen in 2018 as the Oklahoma City Public Schools Program Manager for the Oklahoma site. Previous to starting her work at Generation Citizen, she was an elementary and secondary teacher, teaching social studies, language arts, and gifted and talented students. Destiny also served as an adjunct professor for the Jeannine Rainbolt college of education at the University of Oklahoma for six years teaching elementary and middle-level social studies methodology.
In addition to her work at Generation Citizen, Destiny serves on a number of boards and community alliances. Destiny enjoys assisting teachers and students in advocacy work as well as connecting them to the larger community. Destiny has a B.S. in Elementary Education and an M.Ed. in Instructional Leadership and Academic Curriculum.
In her free time she enjoys gardening, neighborhood organizing, and rescuing pugs.
