Generation Citizen is thrilled to announce the addition of Nicole Wright and Charles “Charlie” Bullock to our Board of Directors. With Nicole and Charlie’s addition to the Board, we are gaining not only two seasoned professionals but also individuals whose shared commitment to education, innovation, and community impact will strengthen our organization’s mission and reach.
The Generation Citizen Board consists of dedicated leaders from a wide range of industries who bring diverse perspectives and expertise to the table. Their collective experience in areas such as education, finance, and social impact is essential in navigating the complexities of civic engagement and educational equity. By leveraging their knowledge and networks, the Board ensures that Generation Citizen remains adaptable, innovative, and effective in its mission to equip young people with the skills and knowledge needed for informed and engaged citizenship.
“The board is thrilled to welcome Nicole and Charlie to our work on elevating young people’s voices in solving current and future problems in their communities,” says Jane Lo, Associate Professor of Teacher Education at Michigan State and Chair of GC’s Board of Directors. “We look forward to leveraging their expertise as we continue to help young people engage in well-reasoned and knowledgeable action that can support their communities.”
Nicole Wright currently serves as the Executive Director and Assistant General Counsel at JPMorgan Chase. She brings a wealth of experience in legal and regulatory matters and a passion for advocacy and social impact. Through her leadership at JPMorgan Chase, she co-chairs initiatives like Women on the Move and the Charitable Giving Council, reflecting her dedication to creating inclusive spaces and uplifting all voices and emerging leaders.
Equally exciting is the arrival of Charlie Bullock, a seasoned leader with a background in investment banking and renewable energy. Charlie’s focus on advancing technology, sustainability, and education—coupled with his extensive experience on education and non-profit boards—makes him a natural fit for Generation Citizen. His proven ability to drive strategic growth and foster collaborative partnerships will be an invaluable asset as we continue to empower the next generation of active, informed citizens.
“GC is strengthened by the energy and expertise of these two leaders joining our Board,” said Elizabeth Clay Roy, CEO of Generation Citizen. “With Nicole’s focus on legal advocacy and diversity and Charlie’s extensive experience in education and technology, we are confident that their contributions will further strengthen GC’s work in advancing civic education and engagement across the country.”
