Allyson Alphonse

Allyson Alphonse is a lifelong learner who has spent the last 15 years focused on ensuring that students and teachers have access to resources and equitable support. Allyson joins Generation Citizen after 7 years at CollegeSpring, where she developed a coaching and rescoped the teacher training program that focuses on a foundational skill-building curriculum around college and career readiness through test prep. As the Chief Strategy Officer, Allyson leads the dynamic Program and Impact Team by overseeing the full-scaling of an innovative equity-centered curriculum, teacher training, coaching supports, and oversees the organization’s data, impact, and evaluation framework to measure strategic impact.

Allyson views herself as an integrated change agent who is committed to: empowering all scholars to build character, ensuring they develop mastery in 21st-century skills, and providing access to high-quality educational and professional careers by creating diverse, engaging learning opportunities. She strives to guide youth to their full potential, meanwhile engaging families and community members to be more involved in the academic success of the youth.

Allyson resides in New Jersey with her husband and two young boys. She enjoys dancing, high-intensity workouts, and spending time experiencing the seasons change with her family.
